I am a Christian amateur astronomer, and to some that combination sounds like an oxymoron, but to me, they are two sides of the exact same coin. When I look into the deep reaches of the universe through mirror and glass, or spend hours pulling faint structural detail from a galaxy millions of light-years away, I see the extraordinary architecture of a Creator who placed that majesty before us to reveal His glory. For me, a telescope is simply another precision instrument, much like a carefully restored vacuum-tube amplifier or a well-strung acoustic guitar, designed to help us connect with something far greater than ourselves.

This site is a reflection of the things that anchor my daily life: the quiet awe of the night sky, the patient craft of astrophotography, the rich, analog warmth of classic progressive rock and vinyl, and a deep-rooted faith. Whether you are here to check atmospheric transparency with the Clear Sky Alarm Clock, plan an evening of visual observing with Tonight’s Sky or Star Hop, or explore how science and faith support one another, I hope you find useful tools, good music, and perhaps a fresh perspective on the universe we share.
